Did Elvis Presley Die on August 16th 1977? Someone Knows the Truth!
Through the experiences of a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, Aaron, 16, lives the real story. Aaron who a few years earlier lost his father to cancer, lives and works on the family farm with his Mom in rural Tennessee. While out doing one of his favorite things, fishing, he meets a man, a borderline hermit, who over time he befriends.

Friends In Need
Turns out Aaron and his new friend Johnny have a great deal in common; they love to fish and they are both enormous Elvis fans. Aaron loves music, he spends all of his spare time playing his guitar and singing; when it comes to his Elvis impersonations there aren’t many around that are better. But as good as he is, he refuses to ever sing in public; Aaron will only perform for family & friends, even then it’s like pulling teeth.

Wouldn’t You, If You Could?
Aaron confronts the challenge by his unusual new friend Johnny. Johnny is a kindred spirit who helps Aaron perfect his performance. He has detailed insight about Elvis that an ordinary fan would not know. Johnny fascinates Aaron. Aaron makes the decision to try to compete, at least once, for his mom, his young love and for himself.
